Once a private residence, the Lancaster Hotel is housed in a late-19th century Art Nouveau building with an ornate façade, which was completely renovated in 2002. It was named by the original owners in honour of their friend, the Duke of Lancaster. The medium sized lobby is opulently appointed but welcoming. The 30 guestrooms are decorated in a classical-contemporary style and feature parquet floors or fitted carpets, cherry wood furniture and marble tiled en suite bathrooms. The hotel also offers a generous Continental buffet every morning in its welcoming breakfast room.
